Anemus, the Wind Disciple Sentinel Hero Attributes Base Stats: STR: 16 + 1.7/level AGL: 21 + 2.4/level (Primary) INT: 18 + 1.8/level Starting HP: 644 Starting MP: 265 Armor: 5 Movespeed: 290 Melee Hero Role: Hero Chaser/Killer Model: Druid of the Talon - wc3campaigns.net Voice Set: Coming Soon! Attack Model: Druid of the Talon - wc3campaigns.net Story: After decades of being one of Gaia's Guardians, Gaia has decided that Anemus has done his part and he moved on to live a peaceful life, until recent events forced Gaia to re-appoint her loyal guardian back to battle not to protect her, but to help his older brother Furion and the rest of the Sentinels stop the Scourge forces from destroying the World Tree which would upset the balance of life. Now back in battle, Anemus vows to protect the World Tree and will give infidels justice as swift as the winds he controls. Abilities Please vote on concept! Ability: [C]yclone Ability Type: AoE nuke/disable Explanation: Anemus summons a tornado that sucks in enemies within the AoE and then dropping them on random locations within that AoE, dealing damage and stunning them for 1 second. Animation: A cyclone appears at the center of the AoE, and enemies within the AoE get blown away kinda like when you use Tiny's toss, but they land on random locations within the AoE. The height of the toss increases per level, as well as the AoE, cast range, and of course, the damage. It stuns them for 1 second on all levels. Mana cost = 90/100/110/120 Cooldown = 14/12/10/8 Effect Duration = 1 second(the cyclone only appears when the enemies get tossed, and disappears after they land) Cast Range = 300/450/600/750 Level 1- Anemus summons a small cyclone, blowing enemies in 300 AoE up and dropping them in random spots within that AoE, dealing 75 damage and stunning them for 1 second. Level 2- Anemus summons a normal cyclone, blowing enemies in 400 AoE up and dropping them in random spots within that AoE, dealing 110 damage and stunning them for 1 second. Level 3- Anemus summons a large cyclone, blowing enemies in 500 AoE up and dropping them in random spots within that AoE, dealing 145 damage and stunning them for 1 second. Level 4- Anemus summons a huge cyclone, blowing enemies in 600 AoE up and dropping them in random spots within that AoE, dealing 180 damage and stunning them for 1 second. Additional Skill Info: This skill, even though it can be used both as a farming skill and a nuke, is better off used as a disable, setting up for your other skills and/or normal attacks. The enemies land randomly within the AoE this spell is casted upon, meaning they might or might not land on places you want them to land. Ability: [W]indshift Ability Type: Self-Buff/Shapeshift Explanation: Anemus transforms into a crow, giving him additional movespeed, as well as other bonuses that even includes the ability to fly everywhere on the map. He cannot attack while in crow form, however. The transformation lasts 10 seconds, unless the player chooses to manually revert Anemus back to its original form. Animation: He just shapeshifts into his crow form, like in Warcraft 3. Mana Cost = 80 mana on all levels Cooldown = 15/15/25/35 seconds Level 1- Anemus gains an additional 5% movespeed. Level 2- Anemus gains an additional 10% movespeed and enemy attacks have a 15% chance to miss. Level 3- Anemus gains an additional 15% movespeed, enemy attacks have a 20% chance to miss, and enemy attack spells have an 8% chance to miss. Level 4- Anemus gains an additional 20% movespeed, enemy attacks have a 25% chance to miss, enemy attack spells have an 15% chance to miss, and the ability to fly. Additional Skill Info: This is Anemus' escape mechanism that gives you a good MS boost plus other bonuses that will help you survive even further. It can also be a ganking skill with the addition of you being able to revert back to normal form whenever you wish. At level 4, the crow form can fly like Visage's revenants but when the spell time expires, he'll end up on a normal spot nearest to where his last position was. Ability: One Wi[t]h the Wind Ability Type: Buff(Passive) Explanation: Every attack Anemus makes has a chance that his movements become as swift as the wind. Level 1- 10% chance to add 4% to MS and 20% IAS Level 2- 13% chance to add 7% to MS and 40% IAS Level 3- 16% chance to add 10% to MS and 60% IAS Level 4- 20% chance to add 13% to MS and 80% IAS Additional Skill Info: I wanted to create a passive skill for Anemus that is in a sense, unique from other passives. I almost chosen a simple permanent increase in MS and IAS, but i realized that Naix has this. I also considered increased IAS and evasion chance, but IMO itll make him imba. i also considered a chance to maim, but that'll be too much disable on him too. in the end, ive decided to revive bristleback's old warpath functionality. Ultimate Ability: Tornado Shi[e]ld Ability Type: Self-Buff Explanation: Anemus summons 3 cyclones that revolves around him to protect him from all attacks. These cyclones are so strong, enemies who come near him would find it difficult to move. Lasts 10 seconds. Mana cost = 150/200/250 Cooldown = 30/45/60 Level 1- Reduces 20% of damage and enemies within Anemus' 300 AoE will have 20% MS and 40% IAS reduction Level 2- Reduces 40% of damage and enemies within Anemus' 300 AoE will have 30% MS and 55% IAS reduction Level 3- Reduces 60% of damage and enemies within Anemus' 300 AoE will have 40% MS and 60% IAS reduction Additional Skill Info: This wouldnt be the coolest ultimate out there, but it sure will be effective. This gives Anemus chasing as well as survival capabilities. To help balance the skill, this shield can be removed that same way Abaddon's aphotic shield would and only Anemus can use it. Pros: -excellent chaser -fast attack speed (with "One with the wind") -good survival capabilities with tornado shield and windshift -good agaisnt enemies that rely on normal attacks -fair farming skills Cons: -fragile -lack of a nuke/finishing blow (cyclone isnt much of a nuke) -item-dependent(needs damage items to inflict real damage) -below average early game -low stat growth QUOTE Synergies Cyclone + One with the Wind = disable with cyclone, move in, attack. Cyclone + Tornado Shield + One with the Wind = disable, slow with shield, attack and attack. Windshift + Tornado Shield = go through impassable terrain, revert to normal form then cast shield. Cyclone + Windshift(with revert) + Tornado Shield + One with the Wind = use windshift in case enemy gets too far from you. This will mostly result in a kill in your favor. Items: Buriza do-Kyanon - will most likely be Anemus' key item. This will greatly increase his chances of making successful kills. Boots of Speed - Insane movespeed Radiance - good for farming, evasion adds to his survivability but best of all, increases Anemus' damage that aids his fast attack speed Heart of Tarrasque - good item that will make up for his low HP. QUOTE Teams Allies: - Anemus' best allies are disablers who can hold the enemies down or slow them while he whacks them off. (e.g. Lion, Rhasta, Meepo) - Doesnt blend well with heroes like Zeus or Silencer unless they make euls Enemies: Anemus is a good counter for: Naix - Has better early game capabilities(almost everyone does), can escape with windshift lvl 4, and tornado shield goes through avatar since its AoE Ezalor and Sniper - Cyclone lvl 4 has a fairly good range that can enable Anemus to get close, and once he does, KotL and Sniper dont have escape mechanisms to save them. Even if they do, Windshift can help chase them down. TO end this post: Firstly, I want everyone to know that this hero is still in its alpha stages, meaning there might be a lot of changes to correct some imbalance issues. I'll appreciate it if you guys can fairly criticize my hero, and give suggestions if you can. Whether you vote T-Up or T-Down, pls do so based on the hero's concept. Thank you, i hope you enjoyed this hero and with your help, lets hope he gets into the DotA game we all love!
